Not good news: I wish i can say there was a definite natural remedy that works but ive never really saw one that worked for previous patients that used it. All studies show that the best outcomes from lowest to highest are behavioral, meds and finally combo of behavioral/meds. If its a problem don't be scared of meds. If your child had asthma or an ear infection, you would want to treat that too so this is simil.

Meds or no meds: Medications are generally safe if used properly, they usually provide quick response but also have significant side effects.Behavioral intervention , and neurofeedback are now endorsed by the aap as efficacious alternative in young children or for parents who do want meds.Diet modifications, herbs and supplements have been tried with poor and inconsistent response.A proper assessment is key.
