?infection (lo grade: Pseudomonas, a water borne bug, has a sweet odor. If you are doing nasal irrigation make sure it is done with sterile (not distilled) saline and irrigator. Rarely, a tumor could cause it, but most of those cause bad smell. Womens sense of smell does change post menopause. ? Hormone use?
