Get Tested.: With many stds, men may not have symptoms, so the only way to know if you are infected is to get tested. Every std can effect you differently, but the more common stds can eventually lead to sterility and/or impotency. Depending on the std, if symptoms are to appear, they may show up as soon as 24 hours after exposure to several years after the exposure.
