I am currently 11 weeks pregnant thru ivf and was told to stop all estrogen and progesterone.is it safe to stop? and when does the placenta take over?

Now: By 11-12 weeks the placenta is producing its own progesterone. This is why you were directed to stop the hormonal supplementation. As always follow your doctors directions.
