Skin tag: Most skin tags (acrochordon) are benign and need no treatment. It occurs in older adults and seems to be more prevalent in diabetics and obese individuals. If the skin tag is bothersome (irritated with clothing etc) it can be surgically excised, frozen off (cryotherapy) or cauterized by a healthcare professional. See your primary care doctor for details.
