Can be tested: State health departments and specialty labs can often find the specific type of a flu swab sample. Quick office tests are designed to confirm flu(a or b) but do not identify the strain. Although serious for some, the h1n1 strain had a lower case fatality rate than the seasonal flu. Flu vaccines for the past & present season protect against it.

Flu test: See your doctor for a flu test. But keep in mind the type of flu you have is mostly not useful information in treatment, which is mostly supportive care.
