Sensitivity: You might have sensitivity or mild allergy to the pinapple, the juice, or ingredients in the liquid. Check ingredients for acids - could be too acidic for you. Check with your allergist if this persists.

Allergy: I use to get an itchy throat from eating watermelon. I had it checked out and found that i was mildly allergic to this fruit. Just quit eating pineapple.
