Loss of dopamine: Gradual loss of Dopamine cells in the brain and specifically an area called substantial nigra leads to a group of clinical symptoms and signs: tremor at rest, slow movements, rigid muscles, gait shuffling, lack of facial expression, small handwriting etc.
