A member asked:

To change birth control pills, will i have to make an appt to see the doctor, or can it be done over the phone?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: Some doctors will make a medication change via a telephone encounter but it depends on several variables, i.e. The general health of the patient, any comorbid medical diagnoses, when the patient last visited the office, and type of medication request. In general expect to make an appointment.
