Strep throat?: Possible strep throat. If so you need an antibiotic.

See below: If you do not have mucus buildup or stuffy nose then chances are it is strep throat, if it feels like knives every time you swallow. You will need antibiotic if that is the case, asap. If you do have stuffy nose/cold symptoms it can be viral. In both cases, you need to drink plenty of fluids and rest. See a doctor as soon as you can.

Take some antibiotic: See if you can find some Amoxicillin and take 500 mg, three times a day for 1 week. Good luck.
