Not likely: Its less about the equipment and more about timing. An ultrasound done in the first 6-8 weeks of gestation is very accurate, with a +/- of one week or less. If the due date by the sono is within one week of the due date by your period, go with the period due date. If it is more than a week off (again, in early pregnancy), then go with the due date by sono.
