Deafness: Sudden onset, or gradual? First, see fp to make sure canals aren't blocked with wax. Take a list of all meds/supplements she takes; one or more of them might contribute to problem. If not wax, see audiologist for thorough hearing evaluation & options for treating the findings.

Deafness: Deafness needs a full evaluation. Check with an ENT doctor. There may be some causes of curable deafness. She may get better.
