Muscle Wasting: When using meth for prolonged, continuous periods of time, it can cause muscle degradation. Once stored fat is used up, muscle mass is next to be broken down for life-supporting nutrients. If your body is always in a catabolic state, which is the case when using methamphetamines, it can't "build" anything; let alone muscle.
