A member asked:

Could huntington's disease have a false positive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: Genetics are autosomal dominant with complete penetrance, and measures a cag trinucleotide repeat of more than 39 repeats, but if 36-39, the test could be indeterminate. A true false positive does not really occur otherwise.
