What are the steps to becoming a neurologist?

All the best:: Lots of steps ahead. You are best advised to get pre-med courses in college, and spend 3-4 yrs in that pursuit, and then attend medical school, a 4 year commitment. You may next spend a year or two in an internal medicine residency 1 or 2, followed by a 3 yr specialized residency in neurology. If your focus is aimed toward a sub-specialty area, there may be an additional year of fellowship.

Many steps : College for four years. Med school for four years. One year general medicine internship. Three years neurology residency. Perhaps 1-2 years fellowship training to subspecialize.
