Hemangioma?: I'm guessing you are asking about a red birthmark made up of blood vessels called a strawberry hemangioma, it is not present at birth, usually appears by 1 month as a bright red bump, grows rapidly, then usually disappears by age 9 years. After that it can be removed for cosmetic reasons. Please ask us again if that was not your question!
