I have a room mate who snores all night long. ear plugs are hurting my ears. advice?

For who?: Tell your roomate to be checked for sleep apnea. As for you... The ear canal skin is quite sensitive... Try different ear plugs. You may try otc Cortaid (hydrocortisone) to help counter the irritation the plugs cause on the canal skin.

Sleep apnes: Talk to your roommate about sleep apnea and the need to be evaluated. This is done with a sleep study. You may be saving your roommates life.
