Should disclosure in egg, sperm and embryo donation be legislated?

Philosophical issue: Some people want an "adopted" child's biological or genetic parents' identities to be known, or at least available for the child to look up if he wants to. Other people want the biological or genetic parents' identities permanently removed from records and never known. There are good arguments on both sides of the issue.

Depends: Disclosure of what, exactly? Identities? Probably not. Health history? Probably.
