Nothing: Asymptomatic ASD if it is ostium secondum type with no associated valve problems can be left alone if there are no symptoms at all. Occasionally the common symptom of this condition is repeated respiratory tract infection. The child needs follow up at certain interval by a pediatric cardiologist.
