Corneal abrasion: You likely have a corneal abrasion. If symptoms are severe, you may have to go to the er. If not severe, you can try using artificial tears to lubricate the eye and keep the eye closed. If no improvement, see an eye doctor.

Yes: Have your eye evaluated and treated. Antibiotic eye drops and possibly a pupil dilating agent will be prescribed. Follow up is also important to reassure that your eye is healing properly.
