It would be common for water to irritate the eye, whether hot or not. It is also very possible that if it still hurts that something else, such as a foreign body (eyelash or other) or a scratch from other item is what is causing your symptoms. Please get examined by your doctor or an eye doctor or the emergency room to be sure there is not a scratch or burn.

Warm water in the eye will not cause any damage. If it is scalding hot it can cause serious damage but you would notice immediately because of extreme pain and vision changes. Pressure sensation is unlikely related but certainly not cause for concern. If your symptoms don't resolve seek out an eye doctor as previously recommended.
