Possibly migraine: Pain behind an eye can be migraine related. Other possibilities exist, such as an inflammatory disease of the eye, glaucoma, sinusitis, neurological conditions, neck problems just to name a few. An ophthalmolgist can rule out the eye causes. A neurologist may be necessary for finding the other causes. You should have an exam to disclose the source of this pain.
