Well?: Lets say its not unusual and unlikely to be a risk. Always consider the bladder. It may not cause perineal issues but it could cause cramps, spasm of uterus and low abd pain. This may refer to the perineum but hard to say. Uti's are common in pregnancy and i think that's it.
