See a Dermatologist: You really don't want us here at healthtap to give you recommendations about something as important as your face, without knowing what is causing the problem? You need to be examined by a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment with the goal to have as little, permanent scarring as possible. Your condition could be treatable.

Derm & psychiatry: First, please see a dermatologist to assess the extent of injury & treat as needed. Next, please know that the kind of obsession you describe can be effectively treated with a combination of medications and psychotherapy. The medication can calm the anxiety that fuels the obsessions, and the therapy can help you learn to manage it in other ways. The meds used can also help your depression.

Face picking: Your first stop should be at the dermatologist office to assess extent of damage & provide treatment, then consult a mental health professional for treating your depression/anxiety. Wish u well.
