Clotted blood: It is likely clotted blood and does not sound serious. To know if it is serious, you need more information. When was your last period? Did the ball appear after sex? Size?Any pain/swelling/other changes? Did you insert anything into your vagina? Possible sources of blood include uterine tissue/blood or vaginal tear or growth. Waiting and watching is fine unless it happens again, then see a doctor.
