Campral: Not to my knowledge. It is a deterrent to alcohol consumption urges.

Not really ...: Campral will help stabilize the brain chemistry during recovery from alcoholism. Healing will happen only after removing unhelpful drugs and alcohol, returning to a balanced healthy diet, and replacing the vitamins and nutrients that were exhausted by the drain of addiction. You cannot completely reverse all of the brain damage caused by alcohol, but the sooner you start the closer you will get.

No: campral does not repair the damage it works as a anti-craving medication. Also has some effect on anxiety which leads to relapses. Thiamine or Vitamin B1 can help avoid some irreversible damage , but once damage occurs the only way to avoid further deterioration is stopping. A good combination is acamprosate and naltrexone. Look for help
