Rash: Your doctor will have to see the rash to evaluate it. History will be important. You could have a reaction to something used to clean you off prior to surgery. You could have a reaction to a medication. It could be related to your recent infection..It may be from an entirely different cause. A dermatologist is most familiar with evaluating different types of rashes and prescribing therapy.
