Various treatments: Acne inversa, also hidradenitis suppurativa, is a chronic, recurrent, debilitating disorder, where sweat gland become blocked--usually armpits or gentitall areas--causing pustular infections. Rx include antibiotics, steroids, incision and drainage of lesions, retinoids, and certain drugs (cyclosporine and tna-a); can be associated with granulomatous diseases, such as crohn's.
