I have had ocular migraines in the past but the last couple weeks it's happened 3 times where it looks like a kaleidoscope in my eye and then a headach?

Get an evaluation: When migraine symptoms change in a dramatic way it is wise to get a thorough evaluation to be sure no new problem has developed. However, it sounds like migraine that has just become more complex. Use Aspirin at onset of eye symptoms and avoid triptans. You can read about this in migraine by oliver sacks.
