BRAT DIET: After a baby has had vomiting from a virus, you should first give an electrolyte replacement solution like pedialyte for 24 hours. If doing ok with that, then can give half strength formula for the next day and then advance to full strength if tolerated. A toddler can get some bananas, white rice, applesauce and toast to try and advance back to regular diet as tolerated.

Vomiting: It depend how old is he, best thing is to continue clear fluids in small amounts frequently for 24 hours, then star giving his formula watered down by adding 1/ 2 the amount of powder to normal amount of water, it he is on ready to feed formula just mix formula & water 50/50 if he is old enough to eat solids he can have, apple, bananas, rice & bread. Then back to regular diet. Good luck.
