IBS: What it appears as if you are describing is irritable bowel syndrome. There are many conditions that can cause these symptoms, even food allergy, so see your physician as soon as possible. Also, if you have diverticulosis and you have been eating foods such as nuts, sweet peas, corn, things with seeds... Then it can cause an acute inflammation of your colon (diverticulitis) & pain on that side.
