Antibiotics for Acne: Certain types of antibiotics are helpful for treating acne. However, depending on the type of acne, there are better ways to treat your acne than with just antibiotics. Sometimes, topical medicines are better at controlling acne and keeping it from flaring up. I would see a dermatologist for some help with managing the breakouts. Lots of choices exist and are well tolerated and lot lasting.
