Avoid vitamin K: Most doctors recommend avoiding vitamins which contain vitamin k because they can make it difficult to achieve adequate levels of blood thinning.

Regular vitamin: You can take any vitamin you want, but do not suprise your doc ... Have them look at label so they know the vitamin k content. If there is no vitamin k it will not effect your Coumadin (warfarin) dose. If there is vitamin k your inr will need to be monitored more carefully and Coumadin (warfarin) may be adjusted. To be honest, most docs just tell patients not to take vit k. Whatever you do be consistent.

Coumarin & Vitamins: Try to avoid vitamin k and possibly vitamin e. The remaining vitamins should be fine and if you are of childbearing age you should consider b complex vitamins at a minimum.
