Possibly not likely : Placenta previous very common in early pregnancy. Overtime the placental typically grows and moves up and out-of-the-way. Unless it completely covers the opening of the cervical opening (os), is unlikely to cause any significant problems. Any bleeding however or significant cramping should cause you to check with your doctor.

Not likely: The placenta may have migrated up with uterine growth. Painless bleeding is a symptom of previa (placenta close or covering the cervix). You may have a bladder infection.
