At 14 wk scan doctr said i hav a low lying placenta.now at 20wk scan its 3.4cm frn internal os.is this safe or still low lying?

Safe : If the placenta is more than 2 cm away from the cervix then it is no longer low lying.

Not low lying: Generally we reserve the term low-lying for 2cm or less. Some people will extend that up to 5cm to be conservative though.
