How to remove warts?

Try Duct Tape: Some warts can be removed by placing duct tape pieces cut out to the size of the wart, and keeping the wart covered for several weeks. Replace the tape daily and gently scrub the wart off as it softens, and then replace the tape.

Salicylic acid: If the wart is small and not on face, i generally recommend doing the following every other day for 2 wks: soaking wart with warm water, gently thin out the wart with an emory board, apply liquid 17% salicylic acid, cover with 40% salicylic acid tape, then apply duct tape (or surgical tape) over it to occlude. The wart will soften and peel off. Some require liquid nitrogen or laser treatments.

Lots of ways: You can use the liquid nitrogen, liquid nitrous oxide (this is what i like to use), topical acids, dermal scraping. You can also try oral cimetadine (400 mg three times a day for 12-16 weeks). This is very safe and had the side effect of getting rid of warts for many people of adult size and weight (japma november 1, 1995 vol. 85 no. 11 717-718 ).
