Now: Ceftin (cefuroxime) is an antibiotic that does not last in the bloodstream for many days like a commonly used antibiotic called zpak or zithromax. If it has been 10 days after stopping Ceftin (cefuroxime) it would be safe to assume that the antibiotic is out of your system and that you can stop the probiotic.
