It depends: If the sex is with someone you care for and who cares about you, relaxing and enjoying are more "normal." sometimes temporary fears about performance can be normal, if they ultimately dissipate. However if it's forced sex, or with someone who mistreats you or whom you don't trust, being unable to relax can be a useful signal from your body. Different situations, different responses.

It's OK: Sex is as much a psychological activity as physical. Enjoyment comes with practice and how comfortable you feel with your partner which takes away your own performance anxiety.
