See your dentist: A side effect of some medications is that it can cause you to experience a bitter or metallic taste in your mouth. But, it might also be a dental problem. To rule that out, go see your dentist first to make sure everything is healthy.

See your MD: Medications rarely cause a lasting taste in your mouth if you take them correctly. A sour taste however may be a sign of a gastrointestinal or dental problem. Call your md and dds to rule out and treat the cause. Good luck -.
