? infection: Restasis does not contain a preservative. Preservatives prevent bacteria from growing in eyedrops that have a long shelf life. Therefore you should not open a vile of Restasis and use the same vile a week later. However (while not recommended by the manufacturer) you would likely be fine opening a vile in the morning and using the same vile later in the day.
