Depends: If there's still a fracture that is not healing (a nonunion), you need to be followed by a foot specialist for treatment options. If the fracture is healed, you and your specialist need to determine if the toe has healed in acceptable position. If the fractures have occurred from traumatic events, your specialist needs to discuss preventative measures. A bone metabolism work up may be needed.
