Rare indeed: Melanoma, when it has metastasized to the esophagus, may cause pain with swallowing that can be interpreted as heartburn. This is an uncommon site of metastasis, however, so more common causes of heartburn should be sought. Additionally, angina or heart attacks can also be misinterpreted as heartburn.

Not typical: This kind of symptom is very general and would only be related if the stomach was involved with melanoma that has spread.

Rarely: Heartburn is very common and can be caused by many things. Melanoma can spread to the lining of the internal organs, including the stomach. When it grows in the stomach it can cause pain and heartburn. I have removed several of these types/locations of melanoma tumors. If you have a history of melanoma, see your doctor.
