Irregular bleeding: Irregular bleeding is common on depo. Please see your doctor to be sure you're not becoming anemic! and to be sure nothing else is going on.

Side effect likely: Irregular periods are fairly common with depo-provera. You should see your doctor as there could be other reasons.
