No: A cyst is fluid filled and no medication will change the size of the cyst. Talk to your neurosurgeon about pros and cons of surgery.

Probably not: The surgeon who examined the cyst and knows its origin should decide on the cause of action. If surgery was recommended and you are in doubt, seek 2 nd opinion for reassurance.
