See below: Pain may come from many sources: diabetes, medications, overuse, etc. Difficulty getting up suggests muscle atrophy (lack of use, low testosterone, etc). Physical therapy could help strengthen leg muscles to facilitate standing/sitting. Fp can check for sources of pain (take list of all prescription, otc meds, & supplements u take to help track down cause).
