It can: A "bad" cycle after Clomid (clomiphene) treatment can happen as there may be more follicle development which leads to a thicker uterine lining to be shed. If the pain is severe though and not controlled by simple measures, see your doctor for an evaluation.

Possibly: Clomid (clomiphene) can cause cramping because the ovaries are larger due to multiple follicles. The menstrual cycle maybe heavier but possibly may be lighter due to the anti-estrogenic effects on the endometrial lining.
