A member asked:

Is it possible to ovulate for more than a day or two? can you ovulate on the 15th or 16th day instead of just the 14th day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovulation: Yes. Double or even triple ovulation is not uncommon and can take place over 48-72 hours. While we use the 14th day as an estimate of the most likely time for ovulation to occur, the fact is that the body can fool us and ovulate on any given day in a cycle. That's why you need protection all month long, not just at the time of mid-cycle.
