Birth control pills: There are different bcp's of various strengths. If you take a pill that is not strong enough to control your hormones, there may be bleeding before the cycle is due. You may have no period at all if the pill is too strong. Continue the pill you have and call your doctor to get their advice about a possible change of prescription.
