Reassuring: It sounds as though you most likely have an enlargement of the thyroid called a goiter. Your thyroid gland normally produces thyroglobulin (tg), so the fact that this is 88.7 is not concerning. It would be a good idea to check your other thyroid labs: TSH and T4 to be sure your thyroid is not over or under active.
