Implantation bleed: When your new conceptus implants into the lining of the uterus (endometrium), you often have spotting or light menstrual like bleeding. Its very common. If it gets as heavy as a period or you have pain on one side or the other of your pelvic area, be more concerned.

Congrats: Congratulations on your pregnancy. You will need to schedule a visit soon since you had bleeding to make sure all is ok. Take a prenatal vitamin daily.
